Location
Travel Joy Hostel occupies a great central London location in Pimlico, between Chelsea and Westminster and within easy reach of many of London's major attractions. Overlooking the River Thames and the landmark Battersea Power Station, the hostel is serviced by a 24 hour bus service from outside the door that goes every ten minutes to Victoria Station, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street and Camden.
Description
Built in 1852 as a Public House, Travel Joy Hostel prides itself on its atmosphere, facilities and personalised customer service. A wide range of rooms are available from twin and triple rooms to shared dormitory accommodation for between 6 and 12 persons, with a choice of en suite and shared bathroom facilities. All rooms have locks with entry codes and dorm rooms are provided with lockers. Some rooms have balconies and all have impressively high ceilings and big windows. Excellent communal facilities include a lively bar with satellite TV and terrace area, Thai restaurant, a games room with a Pool and Fussball table, and a common chill out lounge and internet corner.
